Avenue Scotland is delighted to be supporting the Fife Business Awards this year by sponsoring the award for the “Most Enterprising Start-up Company”.
The award, which caters for businesses under 3 years old that show a high degree of entrepreneurship and vision for the future, is traditionally one of the most competitive in the programme with an exciting array of new Fife businesses every year.
Avenue Scotland, which is celebrating its 17th year in business, sees the award as the perfect fit to its organisation having helped numerous startup companies to grow and thrive by helping them find the right people for the right job.
Ian Campbell, Managing Director at Avenue Scotland explained "Supporting young companies is something that is very close to my heart having been involved in various ventures as well as Avenue Scotland."
He continued, "I have found that one of the most important factors in any new business is the quality of its team, from top to bottom, and I am delighted to be playing a role in these awards."
A member of the Avenue Scotland team will join, a representative from Business Gateway and an independent expert on the judging panel and will be looking for a company with the potential for further growth and expansion in sales, turnover, profits and employment levels.
Ian concluded, "These awards have the potential to generate significant levels of PR, open doors to new customers and investors and I would encourage all ambitious businesses to considering entering."
The Awards Ceremony and Dinner which is due to be held at the Vines Venue, Dunfermline on 11th November 2010, will unveil no less than 10 Category winners as well as presenting 2 special awards; Outstanding Business Achievement and Entrepreneur of the Year awards.
