Senior Electrical Engineer
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Review Contract/ Project specifications, evaluate design and prepare fully detailed sketches, layout drawings and schematic diagrams
Prepare Bills of Materials, Purchase Requisitions, Work Instructions & Operation/ Maintenance Manuals
Liaise with all internal departments during manufacture, test and installation of the product
Liaise with Client, Sub Vendors and Suppliers during the Projects life cycle, up to and including Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) and site installation as necessary.
Set targets for the Project with the Client and provide support as necessary
Monitor the Project through its life cycle so as to improve on future design
Adhere to Company Health & Safety and System Assurance Policies at all times

Qualifications/ Training
ESSENTIAL
Qualified to minimum of HNC level in an Electrical Engineering discipline
Good computer skills (MS Excel & Word as a minimum)
Experience
Essential:
Ability to interpret specifications and prepare schematic & layout diagrams
Previous experience in MV/ LV Switchgear, AC/ DC Drives & Control design
Desirable:
AutoCAD experience
Previous experience leading an engineering team
