Instrumentation/Electrical Engineer

Our client requires an instrument/ electrical engineer to join their asset engineering team to support the maintenance and development of their processing plants. The successful candidate will be working within a team of 14 multi disciplined engineers.

Experience

Applicants should be degree qualified with an appropriate Electronic/ Electrical engineering degree. Chartership is preferred with experience in Oil/ Gas or petrochemical/ process industries.

Key Skills

- Small Power electrical design.

- Working knowledge of the Wiring Regulations.

- Experience with power electronics including UPS and Variable Speed Drives.

- Rotating equipment.

- Maintenance and operation of switchgear up to 11kV.

- Working knowledge and experience of DSEAR and ATEX

- Experience with IEC61508/ 11 Safety Instrumented Systems Standards.

- Design and specification of instrument and measurement systems.

- Basic knowledge of PLC based control systems and their application to safety instrumented systems.

- Knowledge of Maintenance Management tools and databases.
